The Science of the Supernatural
Featuring the Work of GMRI
At the heart of Miracle Series is a bold belief: truth can be tested—and miracles can be verified.
That’s why we’ve partnered with the Global Medical Research Institute (GMRI) to investigate with scientific rigor the miracles featured in the series.
What is GMRI?
GMRI is a nonprofit research institute led by Drs. Josh and Candy Brown, with a team of medical doctors, nursing professors, and scientific researchers, to investigate claims of miraculous healing. Their mission is to apply the gold standards of medical science and peer-reviewed academic research to cases of supernatural healing—documenting cases that defy natural explanation and publishing the results for the world to see.
Each case is evaluated by a team of medical specialists and researchers, using verifiable medical records, follow-up studies, and interviews with treating physicians and witnesses. The goal? To build a bridge between faith and science—and remove the stigma from believing in the miraculous.
